What we presented at our Industry 4.0 stand

🚀 Live demon

strations of our tools for real-time monitoring of injection moulding parameters, supporting analysis of efficiency, product quality, and opportunities to reduce operating costs and energy costs.

🔍 Individual technical discussions: Our specialists discussed the challenges of visitors’ injection moulding processes and how our solutions could support more stable, efficient and sustainable production.

🌱 Sustainability and the circular economy: we showed how process and energy data can document recycled-material behaviour and support consumption comparisons. The effect of any adjustment must be verified by measurement.

Topics covered at the event

  • A practical view of applications of Industry 4.0 in the plastics industry.
  • How to document a reference condition and relate stoppages, cycle time and quality when investigating deviations.
  • Application examples in which baseline and follow-up measurements verify productivity, quality or energy results.

Our invitation to ColombiaPlast 2024 offered industry professionals an opportunity to learn how KERN IoP could support their operations.
